Cirkus Younak

In a fusion of gen­res, Younak Cir­cus Com­pa­ny has recre­at­ed the famous leg­end of Janosik.

This spec­tac­u­lar show com­bines ele­ments of mod­ern cir­cus, tra­di­tion­al music, folk­lor dance and non­ver­bal the­ater. Juraj Janosik was an out­law who lived 300 years ago in Slo­va­kia, sim­i­lar to Robin Hood, he robbed the to give to the poor. This orig­i­nal per­for­mance of Slo­va­kian artists is direct­ed by a famous artist Adri­an Schvarstein and is com­pared to Cirque du Soleil. Don´t miss this oppor­tu­ni­ty to expe­ri­ence a lit­tle les­son in his­to­ry that you‘ll actu­al­ly enjoy.

CIRKULUM fes­ti­val is the first inter­na­tion­al fes­ti­val of new cir­cus in the North­ern Moravia. The orig­i­nal con­cept of the fes­ti­val is so unique that there has nev­er been an equiv­a­lent to it nei­ther in Moravia or Sile­sia. It includes pre­sen­ta­tion and pop­u­lar­iza­tion of artis­tic gen­res such as new cir­cus, pan­tomime or street, phys­i­cal and impro­vi­sa­tion theatre.
