STRANGE COMEDY (CANADA – USA)

Friday, 10th and Saturday 11th June, 2016

The artists of Cirque Du Soleil first time in Ostrava!! Cabaret, which is combining circus arts, illusion, humour and magic, performed by Canadian-American duo of Jason Mc Pheterson and Shelly Mia Kästner. Three and sometimes four legs, broken mind and twisted shoulders show that this marvellous artistic duo clowning around with some puppets can be real fun!  It is a mixture of incredible optical illusions, modern clown theatre and acrobatic elements. How to become a victim of a stubborn hanger, and how to handle it? Unforgettable three-legged flamenco dancer with eyebrows a la Frída Kahlo…and many more crazy things that will make you giggle. The performance is suitable for families with children.

Jason studied at San Francisco School of Circus Arts and performed in the famous TV show La Plus Grand Cabaret du Monde. Shelly graduated at The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts Ecole Jacques LeCoq Paris. The tremendous Strange Comedy show, which lasts 60 minutes and was created under the leadership of Soizicka Herbert and Alex Navarra from Cirque du Soleil, will take your breath away.
